I am printing this out to keep with my sewing books. This will make sewing gores and godets so much easier.
Thank you so much,
AngelaAuset's Stitched Treasureshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10924962703801889913noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1763990199846204241.post-68356175883898590852010-07-29T10:45:09.383-05:002010-07-29T10:45:09.383-05:00Hi Kelley - For a taffeta gown I would recommend a...Hi Kelley - For a taffeta gown I would recommend a polyester taffeta lining. If the gown is a light color(of course, wedding gown), you want to consider a slightly heavier lining to prevent the "see through" affect. As for the bolero, I can't say I have any special tips as they do vary in style. But my preference is to line them like any other jacket taking the same amount of care.

Thanks. I hope this is helpful.
CCennettahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09109335050044632749noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1763990199846204241.post-83172148386528645542010-07-29T10:26:03.723-05:002010-07-29T10:26:03.723-05:00I love tutorials like this one, C'! What would you underline taffeta with? Line taffeta with? Got any bolero tips? I'm putting an elbow length sleeve in one, too.Mrs. Kelley Dibblehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04192189624517973551noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1763990199846204241.post-13041105155315469982010-07-29T09:00:17.330-05:002010-07-29T09:00:17.330-05:00You're welcome.
