Inspiration - My Fall Color Pallet: Color No. 2 Mustard
Mustard is a favor color of mine. But the funny thing is I don't have much of it in my wardrobe. Well this fall I decided to make a point to add a few mustard colored pieces to my wardrobe. It looks great with navy and rust. Here are a few of my inspiration photos that I've collected over the past several months.
What is your inspiration color of the season?

I love mustard too! That outfit with the cream colored blouse and navy jacket is perfect. Can't wait to see what you come up with!
ReplyDeleteI'm planning to make slacks or jeans.
DeleteOh yes Mahogany Stylist, I am so loving it. I've been trying to put some Mustard condiments in my wardrobe for a few years now. Can't ever seem to find the right fabrics. When you find the mustard knit to make that peplum top that you pictured, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!
ReplyDeleteFaye, finding mustard colored fabric has been a challenge. I'm still searching but will let you know when I find some.
DeleteThis is a colour that will certainly look wonderful on you. Love those inspiration pictures!
ReplyDeleteGosh, there is some AMAZING inspiration among those pictures. Those (snake?) leather gloves are divine!
ReplyDeleteCennetta you real got me drooling. I love mustard yellow, I have a knit fabric in this color and have not decided what to make with it. it will be really lovely on your skin tone.
ReplyDeleteMy inspiration colors are orange and lemon yellow. Don't know why but am in love with them individually and in any combination
ReplyDeleteMustard is one of my favorites! It's hard to find the right color fabric--if you discover a secret source please post!
ReplyDeleteLove your outfits! I think it's a lovely color for a little jacket.
ReplyDeleteLove the mustard inspiration. My new Isaac Mizrahi bag is channeling the Michael kors in your photo. I was beginning to think I was alone in my mustard cravings of late.
ReplyDeleteGah-love the yellow gloves! I too love mustard but the 'variation' of it that is usually found is Australia is too orange hued for my liking ...
ReplyDeleteMustard also looks great with teal. I wore a teal sweater (retired this year) with a mustard v-neck peeping out underneath it for a couple winters. --Katharine in Brussels
ReplyDeleteWhat bag is in the fourth photo?
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure. I was selecting photos that fit the theme of the post. Sorry. But thanks for asking.
