Dress Sew A-Long with Butterick 5147 - My Second Dress
Last week I made my second dress and I am very well pleased with the results. This time I didn't add any length to the skirt. I wanted this one to be a little shorter.
The fabric used is from Calico Corners. It's been in the closet for over a year. So I pulled it out to whip up another View C. I also added black piping to the armholes and the neckline.
This is now a TNT sheath dress pattern for me. More on the alterations and photos here.

ReplyDeleteBtw, with your hair down like that, I finally figured out who you remind me of - one of the ladies at my gym could easily pass as your cousin or sister. We've missed each other in classes for months now, but we finally crossed paths again last night and I was able to put it all together. :)
Beautiful dress! The piping is a wonderful addition.
