Vogue 1015 - PT IV Finally Finished!

Last night I attached the flowers and hemmed the dress. Ms. CB asked that I shorten by it by 3 1/2 inches. Can you believe it! I have never owned a dressfoam; not ever. I think I need to buy one. So here a preview of the finished dress. Excuse the presentation. I'm holding it by the straps. More later..., I will post my final review.

  2. Nice dress. I like the flowers!

It did look a little long in the preliminary post, but 3-1/2" seems like a lot to shorten.

  3. Thanks, ladies.

Nancy - Ms. CB wanted the dress to be tea length instead of floor length.

  11. The dress is gorgeous:-) is she sure about the shortening??, three inches sounds really much, it could throw the balance off, try and talk her out of it. I've sewn for others too, I almost always made sure I had the last word, LOL!!! may sound like I'm a bitch but you know some people just don't realise, LOL!!!!!!

  16. Cennetta, that makes sense! Tea length is more versatile and she'll get more mileage out of that beautiful dress.
