Fancy Pants - Inspiration Part II

Last summer I made two pairs of "Fancy Pants".  But I still not satisfied.  For months I have searched for more ideas.  Pinterest is the major source  of my recent search for wearable "Fancy Pants".  Caution, some are more "run way" than "real way".  So here goes!

Now comes the hard part deciding which will be my prime source for my next pair of fancy pants.

  1. I love the idea of fancy pants but lack the courage to wear them. A border print running down the legs is a flattering choice.

  2. I really want to make some fancy pants too. I love the orange pair with the gold looking studs on them. You found some great pictures for inspiration.

  3. oooo, I love the 2nd and 3rd ones! I love fancy pants. I made a pair of summer pants with a flower border print a few summers ago and always feel like a million bucks in them. Can't wait to see what you decide!

  4. The pair second down was featured in a style blog today, I think that they are Balenciaga? no matter they are $6,ooo and change. The woman was wearing them with a chambray shirt. You are just the woman to wear fancy pants. I have two pair of semi fancy pants, my black and white brocade and an animal print pair and love both of them to death. I have no fancy parties to wear any as fancy as these, but I would love a pair of wool or wool blend brocade that won't break the bank.
I look forward to see which is your inspiration pair

  7. Carmela and Adriana in "the Sopranos" wore some fancy pants. In series 4 there were a few doozies.
The fanciest I've worn are summer flowy pants with a bit of a print.
